The Taste of the Caribbean Arts & Culture CT, Inc. marked its 20th Anniversary Gala with a vibrant celebration on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at The Birdcage (25 Central St, Windsor, CT 06095). The evening was filled with lively entertainment, featuring performances by Terry Gajraj, the Caribbean American Dance Company (CADC), a special guest singer, and music by DJ Wasine. Honorees recognized for their outstanding contributions included Kimberly Beauregard, Anthony Bonnick, Terry Gajraj, Rhoan Stewart, Shirley Surgeon, and Judith Williams. Founding members were also honored for their foundational impact: Gary Reid, Natasha Samuels, Leslie Perry, the late Mrs. Eulanda Balfour, and the late Mr. Errol Hosein. The Founding Father Book Scholarship was awarded to student scholars Olivia John, Nya Cohen, Shanelle Wilks, and Aaron Wilson for their academic excellence. Surprise honorary awards were presented to Assistant Executive Director Marcia Whittingham and Executive Secretary Roth Rose in recognition of their dedicated service. Photography for the event was captured by JOHN ALISTA, preserving the memories of this milestone celebration.
