Kali Walé Bey (pronounced KAH-lee Wah-LAY) is a Moorish American Moslem, a native of Connecticut, and has been performing reggae music for almost 25 years. This summer (‘22) he has traveled across the country performing with reggae legends like Mykal Rose (Black Uhuru) and Sister Nancy as well as rising stars such as Gregroy (Boston) and Ras Iba (Hartford). The band he co-founded over 10 years ago, Amandla Band, will be performing at this year’s Taste of the Caribbean. He also fronts the band Drum Sound Language based in Hartford, CT.
