“If is party yuh want, is party yuh gon get”

Tribal Legacy is:

  • Richard ‘Ricton” Burton – lead vocals
  • Charmaine “Ladi Charms” John- lead vocals
  • Wayne “Bassie” Thompson – bass
  • Owen “Dyno” Romeo – keyboards, vocals

Tribal Legacy exhibits a distinct party music sound that starts heads bobbin’, fingers snappin’ and feet dancin’.   Fusing reggae and soca with funk, hip hop and rock rhythms has given the band their own identity.  Their performances are delivered with such energy that it leaves audiences begging for more.

Tribal Legacy has performed at the very first Welcome Back to Brooklyn festival and were well received. They were regular performers at the One World annual music festival in NYC, the White Dog Café’s annual “Rum ‘n’ Reggae” street festival in Philly as well as the Lunchtime Music Series sponsored by the Grand Central Partnership. They have also performed at the MetLife building in Manhattan to ring in the New Year as part of the First Night celebrations, and Madison Square Garden during the World Championships of the Pro-

Beach Volleyball Tour.

Other performances include the very first Socarama held in North America, various clubs in New York, New Jersey, Long Island, Philadelphia, Las Vegas and Maryland. They have also been the backing band for many top Caribbean artists. They have even taken their music on a one month tour of 17 State prisons in Pennsylvania as well as a tour of 35 college campuses from Maine to Maryland.

In 2020, during the pandemic, Tribal Legacy released a Reggae single titled “8:46 – I Can’t Breathe” and a Soca single called “By Mehself”.

Tribal Legacy is currently working on new music which will be available very soon.
